Especially in Indiana with the way extreme humidity and the amount of basements and moisture issues, carpet can become very loose and stretch with just a little wear and tear. Even the nicest carpet will stretch with humidity. Combine this with a typical POOR initial installation and you get ripples that won’t fix themselves:
As you can see from these pictures, this basement was HUGE and Joe went and purchased an extra 3 poles to use with our Power Stretcher to stretch completely from wall to wall. Wait til you see the finished product:
