Got a call from a customer who is getting ready to sell their house in beautiful Franklin, IN. They had a nice living room of Berber that was all bubbled up in the middle and very loose.
I took off the wood floor divider between the hallway and the living room and discovered that when the carpet was installed 7 years before it had NEVER been tacked down. So with years of walking and wear and tear the carpet continued to get looser and looser.
I power stapled the stretched it and power stapled the doorway and finished stretching the whole room and HOORAY! No more bubbles, wrinkles or problems.
Then I fixed two holes in the carpet with the excess I cut off from stretching and they are all ready to sell.
